Spidey’s teaming up with heroes and villains in this new game for PS2, Xbox 360 and Wii. Here’s our Spider-Man game review!
Spidey's got a lot of butt to kick in the new Spider-Man: Friend or Foe video game. In fact, so much butt needs booting, he's getting help from some of his most famous friends and foes! With Venom, Dock Ock, Green Goblin and more comic book characters packed into this game, Gary had to put on his new Spidey tights and give it a try. The tights were awful, but how about the game? Here's Gary's Spider-Man: Friend or Foe game review!
Crime-Fighting 101
You start the game controlling Spider-Man and a computer-controlled sidekick. If a friend joins, they can control the sidekick. The sidekick is either Silver Sable or Prowler at first, but as you beat each boss, they join you as a sidekick. The levels are basic beat-em-ups filled with hologram Phantom bad guys, items and a super-powered boss or two. There are about 20 levels, plus a two-player mode where you can pick any unlocked characters for a royal rumble to see who's toughest!Super-Powered!
There are a ton of cool things in this game! The action is fast, furious and it's super easy to play. The boss battles are solid and playing as the villain sidekicks is terrific. You'll also laugh as the heroes and villains joke around, even the SHIELD computer has a sense of humor! Grabbing all the Tech Tokens and upgrading characters is fun too, everybody gets at least one new attack and Spidey has a ton of web-upgrades available.Character List

Uh-oh!
This game is easy, almost too easy, and it's fairly short. If you've got skills, you can finish it in about 10 hours. Younger gamers may have some problems, but you automatically pop back in if you get clobbered, so it's impossible to lose. The two-player battles are pretty cool, but a few characters can pull incredibly powerful combos. Playing those characters is kinda cheating but letting your noob friend use them helps balance the battles.Super Good?
The action is fast and fun, it's packed full of classic comic book characters and you get to play as villains! Even though the arena battles are kinda wacky and it's a bit short, you can replay any level for more rewards so there's a solid chunk of fun superhero action waiting for you in Spider-Man: Friend or Foe.Thumbs Up:
