Gary reviews the Nintendo Gameboy Advance and SP video game Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Wrath of the Darkhul King! Find out if the Slayer and the Scooby Gang kicks butt, right here!
It's just another day in Sunnydale when suddenly a long-lost big bad shows up to start doing, y'know, evil and stuff. It's up to Buffy and the rest of the Scooby Gang to put a stop to the Darkhul King, and his horde of vampires, on the Nintendo Gameboy Advance - with your help of course.Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Good Stuff
The good news is that Buffy has a whole bunch of punches, kicks, throws, weapons and other cool ways to lay the Kung Fu on the baddies. Plus, the Slayer can pick up axes, torches, crossbows, stakes and a kitchen sink or two.Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Bad Stuff
The biggest pain in the butt is that half the time you can't see where Buffy has to jump and you end up falling into a pit and losing a life. Combine this with having only a few shots with your special weapons and Buffy ends up slain by frustration.Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Final Word
Buffy kicks a lot more butt on TV than she does on the Nintendo Gameboy Advance. The action is classic side scrolling, monster bashing and platform jumping. But the game just doesn't work. Unless you're a hardcore fan, skip this video game and pick up the next season of Buffy on DVD.How Hard Is Buffy the Vampire Slayer?
The controls are tricky, the monsters are a pain and some of the jumps are killers.Buffy the Vampire Slayer Age Rating: Teen
