The Sims are takin' lessons in using magic and casting spells in the crazy new The Sims: Makin' Magic expansion. If that's not enough good news for you, the video game designers at Bioware have finished making the new Star Wars role-playing game (RPG,) Knights of the Old Republic, for the Microsoft Xbox. Check out the info here!
The Sims: Makin' Magic Video Game Expansion
Harry Potter has some cool magic from all the studying he's done at
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Well, now your
Sim can learn to cast spells too! The
Makin' Magic expansion for
The Sims video game will deliver a MagiCo starter kit to your Sims home that'll let your Sim start learning all kinds of magic. You'll be able to
perform tricks at parties,
summon things to clean the house and even have a
wizard duel with Draco Malfo... er... other Sims. There's no info yet on when
The Sims: Makin' Magic will hit stores, but it sounds Sim-ply magical.
Star Wars Video Game RPG for Xbox
In the
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
video game you won't be chillin' with peeps like
Anakin,
Obi-Wan,
Padme or even the
Emperor. Instead, it's set thousands of years before the
Star Wars movies when the evil
Sith were still fighting with the
Jedi. In the
Star Wars:
Knights of the Old Republic video game you'll be able to pick up a
lightsaber, gain companions, use
The Force and even join the
dark side as you play. The Xbox game drops on
July 16, 2003 and the PC version will be out mid-summer 2003 so keep your blaster ready and don't make a deal with a hutt!
