Another Nintendo Direct brought another truckload of news along with it. Here's a collection of the biggest pieces of news from today's show.
WarioWare Comes to 3DS
WarioWare Gold brings over 300 different microgames to the 3DS when it releases on August 3rd. This is the first WarioWare entry on the 3DS and the last game we got was in the early years of the Wii U.
Another Mario & Luigi Remake
Later in 2017, we got a remake of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and it seems like the series isn't done being remade there. Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey is coming to the 3DS at some time in 2019. Similar to that last remake, we'll get new visuals and new content for the game.
Detective Pikachu
You can pre-order the game which gives a gruff personality to a sleuthing Pikachu. The game, which you can pre-order now, releases on March 23 alongside an amiibo of Detective Pikachu.
The Original Luigi's Mansion
The biggest surprise on the 3DS and the biggest disappointment for people playing just on the Switch, Luigi's Mansion is being remade for the 3DS and bringing updated visuals with a new boss rush mode. Very, very exciting news.
Kirby on the Switch
We're just a week away from Kirby Star Allies' release and we got a short look at some beloved legacy characters making a return to Dreamland. You'll be able to pick up the game March 16th and there's a demo on the eShop now!
A Long Look at Mario Tennis Aces
We saw a decent look at Mario Tennis Aces during the last Nintendo Direct but this one has a great focus on the upcoming story mode and some of the specific moves that'll set this one apart. Slowing down time, precision attacks, and more are coming to the game but if you're still not excited then you'll want to try out the Mario Tennis Aces Pre-launch Online Tournament. There's no release date for the pre-launch event but the main game is coming on June 22nd.

Captain Toad Comes to 3DS and Switch
Originally launched on the Wii U, Captain Toad Treasure Tracker is coming to both the Switch and the 3DS with some new content too. Co-op is available by sharing a Joy-Con and we'll also see new levels based on Kingdoms from Super Mario Odyssey. You'll be able to return to the game on July 13th.
Crash Hits the Switch
One of our favorite games of last year is no longer a PlayStation 4 exclusive, surprisingly. Crash Bandicoot 1, 2, and 3 were exclusive to the PlayStation 1 way back when and now we'll be seeing these games not just on the Nintendo Switch but also on PC and Xbox One when it launched on July 10th.

More Single-Player in Splatoon 2
We're going to be getting a lot of new content in Splatoon 2 if you were looking a reason to return or pick it up for the first time. Here's what Nintendo had to say about their plans for Splatoon 2:
"The first paid DLC is coming to Splatoon 2 this summer. Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion adds a hefty new single-player mode that lets players play as new character Agent 8, an Octoling (!) with lost memories. The new single-player campaign features 80 missions, as well as new stories that shed new light on beloved characters. Players that complete the Octo Expansion campaign will unlock the ability to play as Octolings in multiplayer battles. While Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion launches this summer, players can pre-purchase the DLC starting today in Nintendo eShop to immediately receive Octo-themed in-game gear to use in battle right away. (The full version of the game is required to use DLC.)"

Super Smash Bros
The star of the show, without question, is Super Smash Bros. We barely know anything about this upcoming entry other than the inclusion of inklings from Splatoon and Link from Breath of the Wild.
Oh and that the game is coming in 2018. No official word on whether this is a new title or a port of what we got during the Wii U generation. Check out the trailer below.
