The Tokyo Games Show is days away but that hasn't stopped Sony from dropping some more sweet news on the Playstation fans. A new piece of hardware has just been revealed, The PS Vita TV. The Vita TV lets you play numerous PSP or PS Vita games on your big screen with a Dual Shock 3 controller.
The PS Vita TV is essentially a more affordable way to enjoy all the great PS hand-held software you may have missed and the hardware itself is petite, to say the least. Measuring at a respectable 6cm by 10cm, it's Sony's smallest hardware to date and not only will it allow the aforementioned gaming, it also includes access to Hulu, Nico Nico, and various content from the PlayStation Store.
While not available right away, there is another cool feature of the PS Vita TV that will surely be taken advantage of. Remote play with Playstation 4. What this means is that if your PS4 is hooked up to a TV that is already in use by another family member, you can stream your PS4 to another TV in the house to continue gaming. Expect this feature to come via a future PS4 system update.
PS Vita TV launches this November 15th, in Japan, for the equivalent of roughly $150. No North-American release date has been set, but expect one to come!
