The more you watch Survivor Marquesas the more you begin to think it's a whole different show than when it premiered. All the love at Rotu has turned sour and Maraamu has turned itself around.
Rotu: Gabriel, John, Robert, Rob, Vecepia, Tammy, Zoe, Sean
Maraamu: Gina, Paschal, Kathy, Neleh
Reward Challenge: Three teammates are blindfolded and a fourth teammate has to call out directions. The idea is to direct the blind mates to pieces of a totem pole which - once they have snagged all 14 pieces - they make into a pole and win. Maraamu picks Kathy as their eyes and Rotu picks Gabriel. Gabe can't find one piece of the pole which gives Maraamu a definite lead. For the first time in the thirteen days on the Island, Maraamu wins. They get to raid Rotu's camp.
Immunity Challenge: Both camps have to build an SOS to attract the attention of a boat. Maraamu has a definite advantage because of the stuff they grab from Rotu - like blankets. Another disadvantage for Rotu is that they have to use only the four people they didn't use in the Immunity Challenge - Rob Mariano, Vecepia, Sean and Zoe. Their only hope is Zoe, but even she can't build an eye-catching SOS and Maraamu scores their second win.
High Points: Seeing Maraamu pull together, bond and win both challenges.
Low Points: John blabbering about how he's "a leader" - ego anyone?
Survivor Saying of the Week: "Pirates!" - Rotu yelling at Maraamu after the Rotu camp raid. Talk about sore losers!
