Faith Hill - The Early Years
Faith Hill was born in Star, Mississippi and grew up singin' in churches, at family reunions and eventually country fairs. When Faith Hill was 19 she headed to Nashville to see if she could make a go at being a country singer. Like most struggling artists, Faith Hill had to take a few odd jobs to get by. Faith Hill was finally discovered after lassooing a job at a music publishing company. From there, Faith Hill cut a demo of a song called It Scares Me.
Faith Hill's Big Break
Faith Hill saddled up her first album with Warner Bros. in 1993 called Take Me As I Am. With the single, Wild One, Faith became the first female country singer to stay at No.1 on Billboard for four weeks in a row with her first single. In 1995, Faith Hill released her second CD called It Matters To Me.
Faith Hill & Tim McGraw
People were taking notice and the following year People magazine named Faith Hill as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People. Faith Hill married country star cuttie Tim McGraw. In 1997, Faith Hill gave birth to their first daughter Gracie. Not long after that Faith Hill's second daughter, Maggie, was born and in 2001 Faith Hill had a third daughter Audrey Caroline. Faith Hill's latest album, Cry, came out in 2003.
