Summer is a great season for riding sports. You can ride bikes, skateboards, scooters, trykes and even elephants. One kid tells Kidzworld about her favorite sport - horseback riding.
I would like to tell everybody how much I love to horseback ride.This is how I got started. I went to the riding ring to watch my big sister ride. I really wished that I could be on a pony too! I finally had the guts to ask my mom for a horse. She said she would think about it. Then my birthday came. My mom came into my room and gave me a whole bunch of weird looking brushs. I didn't know what to do with them so I asked, "What are these used for?"
My mom said, "They're for brushing a horse. You want to horseback ride don't you?" I ran up to her and gave her a big hug.
The next day we went up to a barn where two horses were grazing. One of the ponies was a real cutie. The girl that owned the pony said she was going to give me a riding lesson and then my dream came true.
