Check out the latest horde of miniature monsters for you to control in this D&D Miniatures: Desert of Desolation review!
The D&D Miniatures game of [KWLINK ]fantasy battles[/KWLINK] just had the Desert of Desolation set drop with 60 new [KWLINK ]monsters[/KWLINK] for you to control. It's a total mish-mash of creatures, with a few new features for the game. The first is Mounts - creatures that let another creature ride them into battle. They're a great idea but, unfortunately, they use up a creature slot so they're barely worth it. Another cool thing in this set is Bruenor Battlehammer, dwarven king and friend of Drizzt Do'Urden - if you've always wanted to lead a butt-kickin' team of dwarves, this guy is a great leader. Unfortunately, there aren't any orcs or goblins in this set, which is a bummer. There are a lot of mid-range figs though, nothing super cheap (except the farmer and his pig!) and nothing super expensive. With a ton of cool and useful monsters, this set is really solid and a great addition to your game.
