Cody Linley - Texas Roots

Cody was born in Texas to a therapist mom and hair dresser dad. He has four brothers - one who is a biological brother and three step brothers. Cody's parents divorced when he was 12. Cody was interested in acting from an early age and made his acting debut in the made-for-TV movie, Still Holding On: The Legend of Cadillac Jack.

Cody Linley - When Cody Linley Came to Town

Cody then went on to land roles in My Dog Skip, Where the Heart Is and Walker, Texas Ranger. He also worked alongside Sandra Bullock in Miss Congeniality, had a lead role in the indie film When Zachary Beaver Came to Town, and then acted alongside Hilary Duff in Cheaper By the Dozen. He also won fans playing Mullet Fingers in the owl movie Hoot.

Cody Linley - The Disney Years

In 2006, Cody joined the Hannah Montana cast as Jake Ryan, Miley's love interest. He has also made appearances in That's So Raven and the live premiere of The Cheetah Girls 2. Cody stars alongside his Hannah Montana cast mate Emily Osment in R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour Volume One: Don't Think About It. He has also confirmed he'll be making an appearance in Cheetah Girls 3, due out in June 2008.
