School's out for winter break and I've just been chilling with Ben and spending a little quality time with my PlayStation. I'm going to see if I can talk mom into giving me a little cash so I can go snowboarding at least once before I head back to school. She'll probably make me vacuum her car or something for it but it will be totally worth it to hit the slopes for the first time since, like, forever.
I'm trying to make plans with Vanessa (the girl from the summer) for New Year's Eve. She lives on the other side of town so we don't get to see each other as much as I'd like. I don't even really know what anyone is doing but I have to make plans so I can finally make my move. I've been digging this girl for far too long now. I have got to kiss her. What's the worst that could happen? She could scream "eeew" and push me away while all of my friends look on and laugh. Actually, I guess that would really suck. Hmm... you know what? I think it's best that I don't think about it too much.
So what do you think the best plan of attack is? Do I just wait until midnight? Isn't it supposed to be traditional to kiss people at midnight? There's no way I can talk to Ben about this. He'll be laughing at me for weeks. I could call Sindy but she'd probably laugh at me more than Ben would. Maybe I can handle this on my own. I've kissed girls before... just none that I liked as much as I like Vanessa. Man, I think I've been sitting inside with my PS2 a little too long. I'm thinking about this just a little too much.
So what do you think? I should kiss this girl, right? Should I tell her I like her over email first or should I just go in for the kill at the New Year's party? Should I get her a Christmas present? What are you getting your crush? .
