Bike Walkthrough in Pokemon Emerald
To get a bike in Pokemon Emerald (and Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire too!) you need to hustle your butt to Mauville City. It's the city that's near the center of the world map. To get there, head up from Slateport City and take the right path. You'll have to battle lots of Electric Pokemon that can paralyze your Pokemon so bring along some Earth Pokemon and paralyze cures. You'll also have to battle May on the way to Mauville City.The first thing you should do in Mauville City is get the Coin Case. Then, find the Pokemon Center and head right. You'll find the Bike Shop. Head in, talk to Rydel, and he'll give you a free bike! But, there are two bikes, the Mach Bike and the Acro Bike, which one should you take?

So, grab whichever bike you want and go have fun!
