Curious George isn't as big as King Kong but he's a billion times cuter and so is his video game! It just dropped for the Gamecube, Playstation 2 and Xbox. Gary grabbed a copy and gave it a try so he can dish up the 411 on the monkey-riffic action for you with a game review. So, is the Curious George video game as cool as the movie, or is it a load of monkey business?
Monkeying Around With Curious George
This game is all about chillin' with Curious George and going through all the laughs and adventure of the Curious George movie, but all from George's side rather than the Man in the Yellow Hat's. You control the monkey as you race through jungles and cities, fly through the air on balloons, and play monkey mini-games.Fun Monkey Business for Gamecube, PS2 and Xbox
What's really nice is that this is a decent game for younger gamers. You have unlimited lives so you can keep on playing no matter what. It's easy to play, with a bit of action that'll challenge your reflexes and skills, and there's stuff to collect by finding items in the levels.Curious George = Monkey Poo?
This game is unbelievably short! If you have solid gaming skills, you'll be able to finish it after school, before you have dinner. The action is also a bit clunky, with some parts doing weird stuff that'll make you miss jumps for no good reason. On top of all that, George's monkey noises start to get annoying pretty quickly. What's the Deal With Curious George?
This game is worth renting for younger gamers, but it's not worth buying unless it's for a hardcore Curious George fan. At least you get a free ticket to go see the Curious George movie if you buy it!Curious George Thumbs Up:
