Sindy: Tell us about your new movie that's coming out in 2006.
Emma Roberts: It's called Aquamarine and we just finished shooting in Australia a couple months ago. We actually just did re-shoots for it so it was cool to see everybody again. So yeah, that's coming out in April and it's with JoJo and Sara Paxton. It's about these two girls who find a mermaid so it's really cool!
Sindy: What was it like filming in Australia?
Emma Roberts: It was really cool. I mean, it was really different because for example, they don't have the craft service that we have here. They have only like these little sandwiches that they bring out like twice a day. So all of us from America are like, "Where's the big craft service buffet?"
Sindy: Had you ever been to Australia before?
Emma Roberts: No, I hadn't. So that was the first time and it was great. It was really cool there, the beaches were amazing.
Sindy: Where is the coolest place you've ever traveled?
Emma Roberts: Probably Canada or Australia. I've been to both Toronto and Vancouver and both of them were so fun!
Sindy: Where would you like to travel to that you've never been?
Emma Roberts: I really want to go to London really bad. It seems like it would be a lot of fun there and I love their accents.
Sindy: Anywhere specific in London you'd like to go?
Emma Roberts: Just anywhere; wherever the good shops are. I like shopping, it's fun. I really like clothes.
Sindy: So you've just signed on to play Nancy Drew in the new movie. Have you read any of the books?
Emma Roberts: I'm reading one of them right now actually. The Secret of the Old Clock is the one I'm reading. It's really good so far. It's funny cuz it's one of the old ones written awhile ago so they talk different, it's kind of funny.
Sindy: What would you say your favorite novel is?
Emma Roberts: Probably the Gossip Girl series and Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes.
Sindy: What's your favorite movie?
Emma Roberts: Legally Blonde definitely. It's funny.
Sindy: Favorite TV show?
Emma Roberts: The O.C. I really like Rachel Bilson's character, Summer. She is so funny.
Sindy: Favorite band or singer?
Emma Roberts: I like Anna Nalick a lot, she's good. And then The Veronica's. I like Usher...
Sindy: Favorite food?
Emma Roberts: Pizza! I love pizza. Just plain cheese pizza.
Sindy: Item of clothing you can't live without?
Emma Roberts: Do shoes count? I just got a pair of brown zip-up Uggs and it's cool cuz they zip-up on the side.
Sindy: What's your favorite city to shop in?
Emma Roberts: New York City. Just all the little boutiques they have around there are all really cute.
Sindy: Do you have a celebrity crush?
Emma Roberts: Probably Matt Damon and Daniel Radcliffe. I'm so excited about Harry Potter. Those movies are really good. I read the first two Harry Potter books but then the movies came out so I just saw the movies!
Sindy: What is on your Christmas wish list this year?
Emma Roberts: I just want any kind of clothes or gift certificate. My mom always gets me really good gifts.
Sindy: Do you have any advice for kids wanting to follow in your footsteps and get into the entertainment industry?
Emma Roberts: Probably if you really want to do it then you just have to follow your dream. It takes a lot of work but it's really fun, so if you want to do it, definitely pursue that.
Sindy: Is there anything you would like to say to your fans?
Emma Roberts: Yeah. Just thank you so much because without the fans, I wouldn't be here. And I hope you like the show and the movies that are coming!
