Wow! This is definitely going to be a rockin' weekend! It's almost the Fourth of July so there are BBQs, fireworks and parties galore. I don't even know what to do this weekend cuz there's just so many cool things to choose from. I'm sure that Kaelin has decided on something exciting, so I'll just go wherever he wants to go.Mom and Dad kind of wanted to spend the Fourth of July as a family, but there is no way that I am going to waste the holiday having hotdogs and sodas with my parents. I'd much rather be chillin' at a pool party or something. Man, why haven't my 'rents figured it out yet that I really don't want to spend time with them. It's not as if they've made my life super easy this past year.
Kaelin says that it gets easier to deal with your parents being divorced as you get older. His mom and dad split up when he was six. How bad would that suck? I guess these things happen all the time though. I just never thought that I would have to be the one to deal with it. Oh well. I really don't care what those two do anymore - they certainly don't seem too concerned with what's going on in my life.
I've kind of been thinking of doing something crazy to get my parents attention. Like dye my hair bright pink. Think they'd notice? Probably not. Guess we'll find out when I do it, huh? Yeah, I'm totally going to dye my hair... but I kind of like my hair the way it is. I don't think pink really suits me anyway... Hmmm. I'll figure something out. Anyways, I better get going. A.J. is going to be here any minute. She's gonna come babysit with me today. Hope you all have a great Fourth of July! Oh - and Happy Canada Day to all my peeps up north!
