Hey Coach,
I am getting ready to turn 16 and I rarely ever exercise, unless you call walking a nine-hole golf course exercise. I could probably lose about five to 10 pounds that sits on my stomach but I don't know how to lose it.

Put down that donut, take your hand off the mouse and listen up. It shouldn't be a surprise to you that you've got some extra fat sitting on your stomach if you "rarely exercise." Most people who rarely exercise tend to be heavier and less healthy than those people who are active. The good thing is that you can lose those extra pounds you've been packing around simply by exercising more often.Walking a nine-hole golf course is a great form of fun exercise but you should add other activities to your summer exercise routine such as swimming, hiking, volleyball or inline skating. You should also start exercising more often - at least three times a week.
There are too many kids in North America who are overweight and don't exercise, and that can cause big health problems later in life. The sooner you start developing healthy exercise and eating habits, the better you'll feel, the longer you'll live and the sooner those extra pounds on your stomach will start to disappear.
