The Most Exciting Game Announcements from Guerrilla Collective Day 2!
More game announcements straight from the 2nd day of Guerrilla Collective!
Jun 20, 2020Guerrilla Collective had even more games in store on its second day, check out our favorite announcements on Kidzworld!
The Eternal Cylinder
This alien world is unlike any we have seen. In The Eternal Cylinder, you are in charge of a group of creatures called the Trebhums (say that five times fast) in a bizarre and truly otherworldly place. The game is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Eldest Souls
Many games have tried to replicate the punishing yet addictive experience that the Dark Souls series provides. The latest is Eldest Souls, a 2D, top-down take on the action-RPG series. The atmosphere looks great, and the unique bosses look incredibly fun to take on. Find it on Nintendo Switch and PC.
No Straight Roads
It is Rock vs EDM in this musical action-adventure where you play as a band looking to take back the town of Vinyl City from the new class of musicians that have taken over the city. It has rhythm sections, third-person combat sections, and a soundtrack that promises to deliver and excite. Bring back Rock and Roll on PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
Skate Story
Skating games seem to be making a comeback, with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater getting a remake, the recent Session, and a new SKATE game seemingly in development, and now Skate Story. In Skate Story you control a skater from behind their back, pulling off tricks in an increasingly dreamlike world. Not much is known about when and where to expect this one.
30XX
If the first 20XX was Mega Man, 30XX is Mega Man X. The game is a 2D platformer where you jump and shoot your way through procedurally generated stages. And this time, you can play it with a friend! Check it out on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
Skeleton Crew
Platformer, meet pinball. A spooky vibe perfect for Halloween and fun co-op challenges awaits on PC.
Floppy Knights
Summon your defenders from the depths of a floppy disk (ask your parents), and take part in both deck-building and turn-based battles set to a cartoony look. Coming to PC and Mac.
Wolfstride
Mecha anime and pixel-art turn-based action collide in Wolfstride, the game where you are tasked with winning the Ultimate Mech Tournament. To do so, you better be ready to out-think your enemies and look good doing it. Unfortunately, it takes cash to win and that’s where much of the games hijinks take place as you talk to shady characters and take on jobs for them. Wolfstride is hitting both PC and Mac.
Star Renegades
Complete with its own anime like trailer, Star Renegades has you engage in strategy RPG gameplay that takes place over the course of generations. The presentation is gorgeous, and each playthrough promises to be different than the last. Takedown galactic empires on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch, and Mac.
Midnight Ghost Run
Inspired by Garry’s Mod sensation Prop Hunt and Ghostbusters, Midnight Ghost Run is all about Ghosts and Ghost Hunters in a cat and mouse game. The ghosts can assume the forms of every day objects around the environment and sneak up on the unsuspecting hunters. If the Hunters catch all the Ghosts by Midnight, they win. Catch ghosts and scare Hunters on PC.
Calico
Rebuild a cat cafe, find cats to fill it with, decorate your cat cafe. That’s it, and it is adorable. Enter the cat community sim on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Switch.
Lost at Sea
Lost at Sea is a laid back, beautiful experience about the challenges that we all face. You are trapped on an island and are set loose to explore.
