E3 Might Have Been Canceled This Year, But There Are Still Tons of Game Announcements Coming
Jun 20, 2020What is Guerrilla Collective?
Since E3 2020 did not end up happening this year, several media outlets have stepped up to the plate to deliver a ton of announcements for games coming to every platform. Guerilla Collective is one of these events, and across three days showed off a heap of new games to look forward to. Here is the breakdown for the first day of the event!
System Shock
Another game in the batch of classic titles being remade for the modern era, System Shock is a full remake of the original 1994 Sci-Fi game where you explore a spooky space station commanded by a haunting AI named Shodan. The remake is coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Google’s Stadia service.
Cardaclysm
There is no shortage of card games to play, but Cardaclysm sets itself apart but mixing in action-RPG elements into its gameplay. This one is coming to both PC and Mac, mobile, PS4, Xbox One, and the Switch.
Uragun
Arcade-style twin-stick action never gets old, and Uragun has tons of it. You control a two-legged tank that stomps around and deploys unique weapons and skills. For now, at least, Uragun is coming to PC and Mac this year in early access, with console versions coming next year.
EXO ONE
A simple, but unique and beautiful looking game. EXO ONE puts you in control of an alien spaceship with the ability to morph its shape from a ball and a disc-like glider. The environment steals the show here, and it is coming to PC.
Almighty: Kill Your Gods
In Almighty, you and your friends are up against colossal enemies with airborne movement and explosive abilities at your side. You can also collect resources from your foes to pour into a city area you can craft and customize. Almighty is coming out on PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One, and the Switch.
Roki
An adventure in magical realism, where monsters live among the forest in this modern-day tale. You meet a cast of unbelievable characters, solve puzzles, and trek out on a journey of loss and redemption, but with the help of monsters. You can find this one on PC and Switch.
Genesis Noir
Genesis Noir is a story about the origin of the universe, life, and even maybe its end. This unique black and white experience look like something out of the craziest dream you’ve ever had. Look for it on PC, Mac, and Xbox One.
Doors of Insanity
Another card game on the list, this one sees you venture into the unknown and collect over 70 cards including magic summons. Doors of Insanity is coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch
A Juggler’s Tale
Part beautiful sidescroller, part warning that running away from home is not such a good idea, A Juggler’s Tale stars Abby, a girl who yearns for freedom. The twist is, she soon gets it but is met with many dangers. Find out what happens to Abby on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.
Lake
There have been more games about delivering mail than you would think, and in Lake, you play as a woman named Meredith who is charged with carrying out the local mail duties of her father. Uncover a deeply personal journey on PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One, and the Switch.
Urban Trial Tricky
Urban Trial Tricky is a more colorful and bombastic take on the series called Trials, where you drive motorcycles and perform death-defying stunts. Hit the track exclusively on Nintendo Switch.

Colt Canyon
Taking place in the Old West, Colt Canyon is a pixel-art, top-down shooter where you are tasked with one goal, save your partner. Coming to PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.
Rigid Force Redux
Sci-Fi shoot-em-up action aplenty with tons of different game modes that promise to be challenging for all players without being unfair. The retro-inspired synthwave soundtrack carries the game’s vibe well. Take flight on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Outbuddies DX
Available now, Outbuddies DX takes a crack at classic Metroid-style side-scrolling action in a world of hideous monsters and secrets hinting at the fate of a world lost to time. You can check it out now on Xbox One, PC, and the Switch with PS4 and Mac coming later.
Baldur’s Gate 3
Back in the day, Baldur’s Gate was the name to turn to for deep role-playing games. The long-awaited 3rd game has been revealed to be hitting early access as soon as August of this year, as long as there aren’t too many delays because of the ongoing struggle against COVID-19. Take as long as you need, safety first I say. Check it out on PC and Google Stadia when it does launch.
West of Dead
It might want to be Marvel Comics’ Ghost Rider, but West of Dead sees an undead gunslinger take on all sorts of creatures that prey in the Old West. West of Dead is arriving on PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Ultrakill
The fast-paced action of Doom, combined with the stylish scoring system of Devil May Cry clash in this unique indie FPS. There is a free demo available on PC.
Valheim
Games seem to be taking a lot of inspiration from Norse mythology in recent years between God of War, the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and now Valheim. In Valheim, you explore a huge world, craft and build as you see fit, and challenge huge boss monsters in epic third-person combat. You can even set sail in ships that you craft. This game has a ton of potential, and the art style looks great. So far, it looks like this one is just coming to PC.
Fights in Tight Spaces
More deck-building, but with action movie flair. Coming to PC.
Liberated
This game is a shooter that looks straight out of a dark comic book. It is coming this July to PC.
Gestalt: Steam & Cinder
This game has beautiful pixel art, a steampunk inspired world and a unique cast of characters that join for a 2D platformer much like those from the Super Nintendo. Heading to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.
Swimsanity!
Taking place entirely under the sea, Swimsanity! is a co-op game where you and your friends blast away on the ocean floor, facing off against hordes of monstrous beasts of the sea. Each character has unique abilities like a medic who can heal your team, so teamwork is huge here. Swimsanity! is coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.
Haven
Role-playing and romance clash in this unique combination of exploration, flight-based movement where you swiftly glide over the landscape and steadily heal the lands around you from pollution. It also has a turn-based combat system for the threats you can’t simply heal or escape from. Explore and discover Yu and Kay’s story on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.
Gonner 2
Mysterious and bizarre, Gonner 2 sees you play through procedurally generated levels that make sure things are different every time you jump in. There are tough boss fights to challenge, and plenty of abilities to unlock.
Just Die Already
This one is weird and it knows it. Just Die Already is an “old people mayhem sandbox” and really what else can you say. You’ve been kicked out of your retirement home, and now its time to cause mayhem I guess (and get into a better retirement home).
