Strap in because one of the most hotly anticipated reboots is heading our way later this fall. Charlie’s Angels, starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska is hitting theaters November 15th.
In preparation, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Rey (are we sensing a rule of threes re: leading ladies here??) dropped their collaboration “Don’t Call Me Angel” that will be featured in the movie.
If this movie wasn’t powered by enough female energy already (and is there any such thing as enough girl power?? We think not…) it is written and directed by Elizabeth Banks. She also appears in the movie as Bosley, the angels’ boss. You might recognize her as one of the commentators in the Pitch Perfect movies (the second of which she also directed).
The Angels
Kristen Stewart has been acting since she was a kid, but is probably most famous for her portrayal of Bella Swan in the Twilight saga or as Snow White in the Snow White and the Huntsman series, but who are the other two angels Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska?
Naomi played Kimberly (the Pink Ranger) in 2017’s Power Rangers and you miiiiight recognize her as Princess Jasmine from this year’s live action remake of Aladdin.
This is Ella’s first major feature film debut after appearing in several British television shows. Hopefully we will be seeing a lot more of her in the future!
The Song
When you have three of the biggest superstars in the music industry team up on a song, expectations are high and this reunion is drawing comparisons to super-quad Pink, Christina Aguilera, Mya, and Lil’ Kim’s 2001 hit "Lady Marmalade" from the movie musical Moulin Rouge! (If you don’t know the song, do yourself a favor and google it… it’s a bop that’ll stick in your head for days!)
Ariana, Miley, and Lana do what they each do best bringing their pop prowess to this track that’s sure to fill the radio waves in the coming months. Ariana graces us with her unmatchable vocals, Miley brings the power, and Lana delivers her sultry voice at the bridge. You can watch the music video for “Don’t Call Me Angel” below! As of Friday afternoon, it already has over 18 million views!

The Trailer
The first trailer came out back in June and shows just how action-packed and quippy this movie is going to be.
Other than our leading ladies, Sir Patrick Stewart (of Star Trek and X-Men fame), Sam Claflin (Finnick from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay movies as well as Me Before You), and Noah Centineo ("To All the Boys I Loved Before," The Perfect Date, and Sierra Burgess is a Loser) are just some of the guys that round out the cast.

The original tv series premiered in 1976 starring Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, and Jaclyn Smith and the first movie reboot came out in 2000 with a sequel in 2003 starring Lucy Liu, Cameron Diaz, and Drew Barrymore.
