What do you get when you cross The Matrix with Mission Impossible, James Bond and three hot chicks? You guessed it - Charlie's Angels. The flick was definitely entertaining. The jokes were funny, the action was cool but the plot was thin. But ya know what? It didn't matter in the least.

In a nutshell, the movie is about three crime-fighting babes; Natalie (Cameron Diaz), Alex (Lucy Liu), and Dylan (Drew Barrymore) who are hired by Vivian Wood (Kelly Lynch) to find millionaire software developer Eric Knox (Sam Rockwell) and his stolen programs. In the wrong hands the software, which is able to detect the location of anyone in the world using the tone of his/her voice, could threaten the privacy and security of anyone who uses a cell phone. Not a bad premise, but the way the heroines solve certain parts of the crime is kinda corny. I probably shouldn't site any examples cuz I don't want to ruin it, but you'll know what I mean when you see it.

Lucy Liu rocked. She's the only girl who looked like she knew what she was doing when it came to kicking butt. Cameron and Drew didn't have the skill to pull off the martial arts stuff as believably as Lucy. Still, Charlie's Angels is a lot of fun! This is girl power for the new millennium. The film does a good job at making the angels beautiful, level headed, strong, sexy and seductive. Drew Barrymore exposes some hefty cleavage and Cameron Diaz shakes her booty but it's funny not insulting. The chicks are always in control of what they're doing and you can see they hold all the cards, all the time.

Whether or not it lives up to the oodles of hype it's received, Charlie's Angels was a cool movie. I had a great time at the movie. I would definitely recommend it to anyone... And if you, for some reason miss it, hang on - I can smell a sequel in the midst.
