Now that we’ve got some contenders for hit of the summer, it’s time to decide which bands to see live. With so much great music, how could we possibly pick one favorite?
Pop Powerhouses
After their stadium-worthy performances of “Sucker” and a combo of “Cool” and “Burnin’ Up” on SNL a few weeks ago, we can’t be the only ones excited to see the Jonas Brothers’ Happiness Begins Tour. The boys kick things off June 8th in London, England at Wembley Stadium.
The next time you can catch Khalid live is June 20th. He is on his Free Spirit World Tour in Arizona, and will be taking his hits like “Location” and “Talk” around the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia for the rest of the summer.
Don’t miss Ariana Grande’s Sweetener World Tour. The pop princess has her next show June 5th in Chicago and then keeps on singing her way across the U.S. and Europe into October.
Rapidly rising star Billie Eilish wakes us up on her When We All Fall Asleep World Tour. A lot of her shows are sold out, but you can still find tickets for her tour that goes all over the world.
Shawn Mendes’ The Tour makes its next stop in Portland, Oregon on June 12th, having started in March. You can still see him in many major U.S. cities into July.
Hip Hop
Cardi B may have taken some time off to become a mom last year, but she’s back on tour and will be in Europe starting this month.
Country Crooners
Maren Morris starts off the summer right in the capital of country music, Nashville, Tennessee on June 9th and traveling all over the US through November. She may be known for her pop hit “The Middle” with Zedd, but the star has a bunch of country hits to back it up.
Kacey Musgraves gets going with festival season at Bonnaroo in Tennessee and the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in Colorado this June. Then she takes her tour all over the U.S., Canada, and Dominican Republic over the next five months.
Rock and Indie Icons
Indie darling Maggie Rogers’ next show is in Ireland, but not to worry if you’re in North America. She’ll be back in July, August, September, and October.
Vampire Weekend just released their fourth studio album Father of the Bride at the beginning of May and are bringing the show on the road beginning June 5th at the RBC Echo Beach in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They will trot all over the globe through November.
If you haven’t had the chance to see the profound music of living legend Paul McCartney, you can catch any of a dozen dates across the U.S. in June and July.
Folk Heroes
Mumford & Sons take their folk/pop sound across Europe and the United States this summer.
K-Pop Stars
BTS is wrapping up their Love Yourself Speak Yourself tour in France and Japan over the next month, so catch them while you can!
TWICE is also mid-tour, next set to perform in Bangkok, Thailand on June 15th. After they wrap up in Asia, they will head to the U.S. and Mexico.
