During the awesome Nintendo Direct from yesterday, Nintendo made a ton of announcements and reveals. For fans who want to jump into the fun as soon as possible, you'll be happy to see that Nintendo put out 5 pieces of content to download, with a few free demos for upcoming games included.
Yoshi's Crafted World Demo
The upcoming adventure releases on March 29th, but if you're itching to play Yoshi's Crafted World a little early then head on over to the Nintendo eShop on your Switch and download the game's demo now. This sneak peek will let you run through the game's first level. Additionally, Nintendo released an awesome looking trailer for the game, which you can see below, that showed off some surprising variety. This game is looking better than ever!

Captain Toad Treasure Tracker DLC, Free and Paid
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker was released on the Switch in August of 2018 but Nintendo is looking to bring you back into the game with the free update that's available now. You can now return to the game with a buddy and play the game in 2 player co-op, one of you controlling the titular Captain Toad and the other as Toadette. While the game had a much simpler co-op initially, it wasn't much more than someone pointing at the screen. This is an especially great way to guide a less experienced player through the game's puzzles. Sometime in March, Nintendo is also planning to release a cheap DLC pack that adds new challenges onto the game.
Daemon x Machina's Demo
First seen during Nintendo's E3 show, Daemon x Machina is a giant robot fighting game that's planned for a full release later this summer. If you decide to check out the game's demo on the Switch eShop, Nintendo could send you a survey asking for your thoughts on the game as the developers are still hard at work on the full product.
Final Fantasy IX Comes to Xbox and Switch
This game initially released way back on the PlayStation 1, now the game is playable not only on the Switch but also on the Xbox One. This was known to be coming after the previous Nintendo Direct late last year, but the sudden release on the Nintendo Switch was definitely a surprise. If you're looking to enjoy a beloved turn-based RPG from yesteryear then you'll be able to download it onto the Switch for about $20. Maybe a little too pricey for such an old game but it's definitely a good adventure for the money.
Tetris 99's Free Online Game
It may feel like there are a lot of Battle Royale games lately, but surprisingly Tetris brings something new to the table. Playing against 98 other players, you'll strive to be the last one standing in a competitive game of Tetris. It's free to play on the Switch's shop, so feel free to try it out for yourself.
