Xbox's showcase at Gamescom has become a key staple of Microsoft's announcements, especially in recent years. While the biggest news is still probably information we learned out of E3, we'll be seeing some new trailers and also the first chance to pre-order the Xbox One X.
Assassin's Creed Origins Gets a New CGI Trailer
Kicking things off, Ubisoft brought along a new trailer for Assassin's Creed Origins. The game was a big deal during the Xbox -- and Ubisoft -- E3 conference so it's not too much of a surprise to see this game return. While the new trailer is incredibly stylish, it's still a CG trailer and isn't indicative of actual gameplay. The new trailer was full of famous historical figures so gamers will be able to interact with Cleopatra on October 27, 2017.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Rehashes The E3 Trailer
E3's fingerprints are all over this show, before bringing on the creator of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds to remind us that we'll be able to play the game on Xbox by the end of 2017, we saw a repeat performance of the trailer from E3. An awesome trailer but definitely a little bit of a been there done that sort of feel.

Jurassic World Evolution Gets A World Premiere Trailer
In the vein of games like Roller Coaster Tycoon, Jurassic World Evolution lets players build their very own Jurassic World. While this CG trailer didn't have too much to show off, we saw a Summer 2018 release window. So we'll be able to design a virtual dinosaur theme park within the year, check out the trailer below.

The Return of ReCore
Released in 2016, ReCore was a third-person action game that suffered from some unfortunate pacing issues in the latter half. The game was far from bad but still lacked the polish it needed to really stand out. ReCore Definitive Edition will include more content when it releases on August 29th and gamers like myself who already have a copy of the title will get all of the new content for free, I'll definitely be replaying some elements of the new game.

Forza Motorsport 7's E3 Trailer Returns
Just like that earlier trailer for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Xbox chose to show the same E3 trailer again at Gamescom but for Forza Motorsport 7. The new game's setting out in Dubai made for some interesting development stories and a member of Forza's team told an interesting story. When recording the real track in Dubai the team wasn't prepared for the heat and accidentally melted a pair of $25,000 cameras. Check out the new/old trailer below to prep for the ultimate edition on September 29th and the full release on October 3rd.
