In video game news this week, we learned that Nintendo is listing The Legend of Zelda as TBD, meaning we’re not getting it any time soon. In better news, Super Smash Bros. is getting a big old update on July 31. We’ll tell you what we’re getting. We’re also hearing about a new expansion for World of Warcraft! Check it all out below.
The Legend of Zelda Not on Nintendo’s 2016 Calendar
Zelda fans are going to be disappointed by this news, but when Nintendo released their quarterly financial report, The Legend of Zelda was listed as TBD, 2016. Nintendo didn’t exactly get a great reception for their E3 presentation and people are starting to grumble about the Wii U and what we are and aren’t getting. Still, at least they’re not putting it out before it’s ready like some companies do. Is it worth waiting for? Let’s hope so!
Super Smash Bros. is Getting an Update
In better Nintendo news, the company says we’re getting a big update for Super Smash Bros. on July 31. We’ll be getting that Tourney Mode we’ve been hearing about for the Wii U version, as well as YouTube replay uploads if you have a Google account. The 3DS will get new stages and Mii Fighter costumes, though we’ll have to pay for those.
World of Warcraft Expansion to be Revealed on August 6
World of Warcraft fans, listen up! We’re getting a brand new expansion and all the info is going to be revealed during Blizzard’s live briefing on Thursday, August 6, 9 AM PDT / 12 Noon EDT. This will be the sixth expansion, following The Burning Crusade (2007), Wrath of the Lich King (2008), Cataclysm (2010), Mists of Pandaria (2012), and Warlords of Draenor (2014). Please tell us we’re getting playable Murlocs!
