Although its 3D function doesn't get much use these days, the Nintendo 3DS is still seeing lots of great games come out for it. Not surprisingly, however, Nintendo-made games top our list for the Top 5 Nintendo 3DS Games 2012.
No. 5: Kid Icarus: Uprising
Kid Icarus: Uprising is an onrail shooter game where the player moves on a set path and shoots down everything using Pit's bow and arrows. Meanwhile, you must dodge enemy attacks and collect items to earn rewards.
No. 4: Paper Mario: Sticker Star
The RPG Mario series continues with this new Paper Mario game for the Nintendo 3DS. This time, the game features a neat combat system. Mario must use the power of stickers to perform his attacks. However, this will use up the sticker and Mario must find and collect more while also managing his collection to make sure everything fits in his sticker book.
No. 3: Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask
It's Professor Layton, now in 3D! The puzzle-loving Professor is joined yet again by his assistant Emmy and young apprentice Luke as they explore the mysterious city of Monte d'Or and the Masked Gentleman that threatens to destroy it. As always, there are many puzzles to solve, some are even in 3D!
No. 2: Pokémon Black and White 2
Technically, Pokémon Black and White 2 is not a Nintendo 3DS game, but that's how good this game is! Continuing two years after the events of the first game, you control a new Pokemon trainer and take on the eight gym leaders, Team Plasma, and the Elite Four once more. Going online, you can also download the 2012 World Champion teams from the tournament in Hawaii this year and challenge them to a battle!
No. 1: New Super Mario Bros. 2
The New Super Mario Bros. have hit the 3DS! This classic styled platformer is pure fun. Can you collect one million coins before the end of the game?
