This week on The Vampire Diaries, the Miss Mystic Falls pageant is held. See what you missed in Kidzworld’s recap of “My Brother’s Keeper”, which aired November 29, 2012.
Suspicions
Damon and Matt are suspicious of Professor Shane and his involvement with April’s dead father. Damon runs into Elena, Caroline and April while they are shopping for the Mystic Falls pageant. He confesses to Elena that he knows she and Stefan broke up. Elena tells him that he was the reason for the breakup.
When Damon finds Professor Shane, he asks him how he convinced April’s father to kill all of those people. Damon wants the professor to help him find another vampire hunter, so Jeremy doesn’t have to be involved. Shane says there aren’t any other hunters. He also confesses that they will need a special witch in order to find the cure.
Hunting
In order for the gang to solve the puzzle and get to the vampire cure, they need Jeremy to kill more vampires. Unfortunately, now that Jeremy is a vampire hunter strange things are starting to happen. He has an uncontrollable energy and is having nightmares about hurting Elena.
Stefan tracks down an imprisoned murderer and turns him into a vampire. Then he tells Jeremy that if he wants to help Elena, he needs to kill more vampires. The more he kills, the less control Jeremy has. Elena sees him holding a stake with blood on his hand. He stabs Elena in the neck, and Stefan has to stop him from killing her.
New Beginnings
Since it is unsafe for Elena and Jeremy to be together, Elena moves out and Matt moves in. Elena shows up at the Salvatore house and asks if she can stay. Stefan tells her to pick a room and he will leave. Caroline and Stefan have a heart-to-heart about Elena. Caroline realizes that Elena has been sired to Damon since she drank his blood. What does this mean?
