2012 Final Four Preview

Mar 27, 2012

67 teams have been narrowed down to the final four at the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. On the women’s side, it’s down to the final two. Let’s take a look at the teams and who will be crowned champions.

Kentucky Wildcats (Rank #1 seed)

The Kentucky Wildcats are the big favorites to win the men’s final four. Everyone is unibrowing together for their freshman superstar Anthony Davis.  Anthony is only one year out of high school and he is already being considered the best player in college basketball. He seems to be handling the pressure of being the best as his team is favored to win it all.

Louisville Cardinals (Rank #4 seed)

A playground-style player named Russ Smith leads the Louisville Cardinals up against their state rivals. Russ has a crazy shot selection and drives his coach Rick Pitino crazy. Every one calls him Russ-diculous on the court because he usually makes his crazy shots. He’ll have to go insane Saturday if the Cards have any chance at a miracle against Kentucky.

Ohio State Buckeyes  (Rank #2 seed)

If you think that basketball is dominated in the paint, then the Ohio State Buckeyes are probably your favorite team to win the final four. The Buckeyes dominate inside, grabbing rebounds and scoring easy layups.

Kansas Jayhawks (Rank #2 seed)

If defense is the name of your game, then the Kansas Jayhawks are probably your team. The Hawks are extremely exciting to watch as they shut down big players and score most of their points off of turnovers.  Kidzworld is picking the Jayhawks as the only team worthy of beating Kentucky.

Women’s Winners

Baylor’s Brittney Griner has proven that all you need is one player to win a championship. She’s one of the only women in the world who can dunk the ball and her skills are so obvious that she is the WNBA’s next Lebron James. Brittney and Baylor have dominated the women’s tournament so far and they should win the final against Standford.
