Spring is in the air, and even better, Spring Break is just around the corner! With school out your days are all your own, you want to forget about homework and find some fun. Haven’t figured out what to do with all that free time yet? Check out the Top 10 Spring Break Ideas!
No.10: Camp Kids
The great outdoors is just that, “great”! Roughing it can mean also mean resting up, camping is a great way to get away from it all, spend some quality time with your parents or friends and forget about school and stress.
No.9: Hobby Holiday
Whether it’s cooking, karate or crafting, you probably have a hobby that’s been on hold since your last holiday. Set aside your schoolbooks this for Spring Break and get back into your favorite hobby.
No.8: Turn The Page
Being on break doesn’t mean you have to take a break from books altogether, especially if the weather isn’t the best. If you find yourself stuck indoors for Spring Break curl up with a story at home or lose yourself at the library.
No.7: Get Out!
...Outside that is! If you luck out and get clear skies than Spring is the time to get out and smell the roses – literally! You can go hiking, get down to the beach, picnic in the park or just explore the city with friends or just go shopping (there’s more outside than just natural beauty after all.)
No.6: Video Game Vacation
If you’re a gifted gamer than this could be your chance to hunker down and make it to the next level. Make sure you stock up on supplies, like snacks, pop and candy, and invite your friends over to share in the gaming glee.
No.5: Tourist In Your Town
When was the last time you hit up your local aquarium, art museum or amusement park? Be a tourist in your own town during Spring Break, seeing your local sites and remembering why you love the city you live in.
No.4: Family Fun
Visiting grandparents, cousins and just staying home with your parents or siblings can be a relaxing and restful way to pass the holiday. If you get bored, bust out the board games to bring everyone together. There’s nothing like a little healthy competition to mix things up.
No.3: Spring Sports
If it’s dry and there’s not a cloud in the sky, it might be time to think about dusting off your soccer ball, breaking out your softball bat or hitting the basketball courts. Whether its playing with your friends in the park of just messing around in the back yard, shake off those Winter blues and show everyone your moves.
No.2: Movie Marathon
Are you a film buff? There are lots of new movies hitting theatres this month and Spring Break is the perfect time to grab a buddy or go to the movies with your family. If you want something even more low key, you can rent enough movies to keep you in front of the TV all week and stay home with some snacks.
No.1: Seek Out Sun!
Going away for Spring Break is the ultimate way to make sure you get the max out of your time off, especially if that somewhere is a place where you can slap on some sun screen and peace out by the pool.
