It’s almost Christmas and the pressure is on, you have less than a month to find the perfect gift for your family members. You’re stuck for ideas and you want to get them something they’ll love this holiday season, take a look at these Christmas Gift Ideas to get you started!
Winter Warm Up
When it’s snowing outside you can’t go wrong with some warm winter wear for the people closest to your heart. Gloves, hats and scarves are a great way to combine functional with fun. Almost every major store and lots of independent retailers make a variety of winter accessories in loads of patterns and styles, so it shouldn’t be hard to find scarves, mitts, and hats that are a perfect match for every member of your family.
Parent Pleasers
The winter holidays are a good time to get your parents something to help them relax at home. If your parents are bookworms (or even if they just like a good story), why not get them a best seller that they can curl up by the fire with! Like Steig Larsson’s mystery thriller series The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
If books aren’t their thing, why not try treating your parents to some special bath and shower or shaving kits (for dad!) The Body Shop sells a range of holiday collections that range from $9 to $100 in a variety of some of their most delicious scents, like vanilla bean or citrus fruits.
Sibling Stuff
Not sure what to get for your brother or sister this year? How about something you’ll both enjoy (cause let’s face it, if you’re siblings you’ll be sharing whatever you get them eventually, so you may as well get them something you both like!)You can never go wrong with music, and if you’re not sure about someone’s music taste it’s a good bet to go with one of the most popular pop albums of the year, Selena Gomez’s When the Sun Goes Down. If their taste is a little more off-beat you can always get them a gift card for iTunes.
You and your brother/sisters are all home for the holidays, which means lots of hanging out indoors (away from the cold). Why not enjoy the time inside with a family fun movie, like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt.1 or 2 (or both!)
The Life Saver: Socks
Okay, we know it’s cheesy. But if you have to get a gift for someone who isn’t in to movies or music or...anything, there is always socks. Everybody needs ‘em, and everybody secretly wants ‘em. In winter anything fun or funky goes with socks, so get them thick, wooly, patterned with snowflakes, or rainbow toe socks. Just get something to make them smile!
