East Coast Cutie

15-year-old Diamanté Bovelli originally comes from the East Coast of the United States, but made her way to Los Angeles to pursue her career as a singer, songwriter and actress. She quickly started churning out songs and hitting up live venues with memorable performances at hotspots like The Factory and The Palm Springs Convention Center. Her sound has been compared to popular songstresses like Pat Benatar and Alanis Morissette.

Just For One Day

Diamanté’s song “Spinnin’ Around” landed on the soundtrack for the film Leaving Hollywood, and shortly after that “Just For One Day” topped the charts on Tween Pop radio, staying in the Top Ten for ten weeks! Diamanté was more determined than ever to keep writing and singing, this year was nominated for Best Artist of the Just Not Famous Enough Awards in Hollywood.  Diamanté also started getting radio play in other countries, being featured in countries like Australia and Mexico. She even did interviews with the Radio Disney Club, Nashville Stars 2 Come and more.

Miss Musical

Diamanté loved making her own music, but also decided to seek out a new challenge by taking to the stage not just to perform her own music, but also to be a part of popular musicals. She has been a cast member for productions of Grease, playing the lead role of Sandy and Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie, along with more modern productions like playing Ariel in Disney’s A Day of Magic.

No Bully Tour

Right on the heels of releasing her single “Impossible”, and performing for her Age of Rebellion national tour, Diamanté went back on the road as part of the No Bully Tour America 2011 for the rest of the summer.  And to her surprise and delight, Impossible has been nominated as Song of the Year for the Independent Music Awards.
