Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3, Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon, and PlayStation Move Ape Escape
Jul 03, 2011It may be the Fourth of July in the USA, but video games are still coming out! This week, look forward to a couple of grand scale battle games and a fun downloadable PlayStation game that utilizes the PS Move motion controller.
Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3
A follow up to the first two Dynasty Warriors Gundam game, you can choose different pilots and Mobile Suit Gundam from the anime series and complete missions based on the anime and also unique ones that combine all the different series together!
New features in Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 include a partner that you can order into battle with you, chain explosions caused by one exploding mobile suit hitting others, catapults that can help you travel across a level quickly, and the ability to use your dash to dodge attacks. The game also features four player online co-op for fifteen different missions, which are challenging and lots of fun.
Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon
Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon is a third-person shooter and is the sequel to Earth Defense Force 2017. In the game, you battle against lots of giant insects and robot enemies in the futuristic city of New Detroit. There are over 300 weapons to use, double the amount from the previous game, and better vehicles, such as tanks and mechas. Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon can be played with local multiplayer on split screen or online co-op.
PlayStation Move Ape Escape
This is a game that you can download from the PlayStation Store on the PlayStation Network. Unlike other Ape Escape games, this is an on-rails shooting game where you use the PlayStation Move motion controller to catch escaping monkeys. The Move controller becomes a net to catch monkeys, a slingshot to trigger buttons and other special objects, and a fan to blow away dangerous objects.
