This is it—the finale of America’s Next Top Model Cycle 16. Brittani and Molly compete in a fashion show for the ultimate prize on Episode 13, which aired on May 18, 2011.
Cover Girl Commericials
First, the final two girls shot their Cover Girl commercials featuring Cover Girl Lip Perfection. Molly felt self-conscious and struggled with her shoot. Brittani also struggled on her first few tries, but in the end she delivered a solid commercial. Later, the girls completed their Cover Girl beauty shots with the ease of professionals.
Beauty In Vogue Spread
The next day Brittani and Molly shot the cover and fashion spread for Beauty In Vogue. The winner of Top Model will have this spread featured in the magazine. The photographer loved Brittani’s professionalism. Molly, however, acted extremely bitter. She was cold and hungry and not afraid to show it. The photographer could tell that she was losing energy by the end of the shoot.
A Surprise Visit
When they arrived home, Molly was pleasantly surprised to see her parents waiting for her. Unfortunately, Brittani’s mom wasn’t able to come because of her anxiety disorder and her back surgery, but she did get to talk to her via webcam.
Vivienne Westwood Fashion Show
The final fashion show was a little different this season. It was “salon style” where the models walked from room to room. They sported one of Vivienne Westwood’s three clothing lines called Anglomania. Kasia, Alexandria and Hannah were brought back to walk with them. The runway show went smooth until the end, when Brittani slipped on a rose petal and slammed into a wall. Ouch! Luckily, she was able to pull herself together for the final lap.
America`s Next Top Model is...
At panel, both girls were given completely new boy-cut hairdos. The judges preferred Brittani’s strong walk to Molly’s bouncy one. And for their commercials, Brittani’s best take was bubbly and friendly, while Molly came across as a mean girl. But Molly did step up her game to produce an amazing Cover Girl photo. After reviewing their body of work, the judges made their decision. America`s Next Top Model for Cycle 16 is...Brittani!
