For the Love of Dancing
Born on December8, 1993, AnnaSophia’s first love wasn’t always acting. She competed in dance competitions and gymnastics for 5 years and even won an Irish dancing award when she was seven years old! She quit to focus her full attention on acting but still loves to dance in her spare time. The first time she performed was at age five on the stage of her church in hometown Denver Colorado!
AnnaSophia’s Style
We are loving AnnaSophia’s feminine dresses and simple accessories. Not one to go trend-crazy, she’s a big fan of pretty dresses, casual jackets and sparkly heels. In her downtime she’s just another teenage girl in denim cut-offs and jeans and tees. Her shiny hair, either worn loose or in a simple bun, is her best accessory!
Landing her First Commercial
Once AnnaSophia decided she wanted to be an actorM it was full steam ahead. She booked a McDonald’s commercial and also a nationwide commercial for Bratz Dolls when she was six!
From Denver to Hollywood
AnnaSophia’s big breakthrough came in 2005 when she was 12. She played Violet Beauregard opposite Johnny Depp in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and in the movie Because of Winn-Dixie with Jeff Bridges!
Recording her First Song!
In 2007 she recorded a song and also had a role in the movie, Bridge to Terabithia! The song was featured on the soundtrack and was called “Keep Your Mind Wide Open”. Check out the video for the song below!
