Mystic Falls may seem like any other small town, but deep secrets lie in its ancient history. Elena Gilbert thought she met the guy of her dreams, but she soon discovers her boyfriend Stefan is a century-old vampire!
Brotherly Hate
Before the show begins, Elena’s parents were killed in a car crash. Only later is it revealed that Elena survived because Stefan saved her. Why did he? Because Elena is the exact double of Stefan’s lost love, Katherine. Katherine was the vampire who turned Stefan—and Stefan’s brother Damon. Damon was betrayed by Katherine centuries ago and takes out his misery on everyone he meets. Stefan tries to keep Damon from killing Elena, but there’s more to Damon’s interest in her than revenge.
Double Trouble
Damon might threaten Elena, but Stefan can see that Damon is falling for her just like he fell for Katherine centuries ago. The brothers are in love with the same girl again—it’s history repeating itself! But neither brother was prepared when Katherine returned to Mystic Falls…
