Ryan Newman is one of the latest adorable young stars to break into Hollywood. You might’ve seen her playing young Miley in a few episodes of Hannah Montana, but after scoring lead roles in the 2006 movies Monster House and Zoom, Ryan should be helming her own show in no time!
Born To Act
As soon as she could walk and talk, Ryan knew she wanted to act. Her parents were hesitant about getting into the Hollywood game, but Ryan’s passion convinced them.
Ryan’s first acting gig was starring in a commercial for Kraft Cheese! Since then Ryan’s racked up an impressive resume, starring in countless commercials and print ads before moving into TV and movies.
Zeke And Luther
In the Disney XD smash, Zeke and Luther, Ryan stars as Zeke’s pesky younger sister, Ginger. Ginger constantly pulls pranks on her know-it-all brother just to remind him just which sibling is the smartest. She also loves telling their next-door neighbor Olivia Masterson about how much Zeke likes her.
Good Luck Charlie
Ryan will star in an epsiode of the hit Disney Channel show Good Luck Charlie. In “Kit and Kaboodle,” Ryan plays Kit, the first girl that Gabe has ever had a crush on. He likes her so much that he lies and says he’s an only child whose parents are divorced, just like her!

- Ryan is good friends with her Monster House co-star, Mitchel Musso.
- Ryan loves clothes and describes her style as “boho chic.” “I buy clothes from everywhere—some online, some boutiques [and] little vintage stores,” she says.
- Ryan has three dogs—a Yorkie named Sweet Pea and two Havenese dogs.
- She also plays the piano. Ryan loves looking up the chords and playing along to her favorite Taylor Swift songs.
- Ryan recently traveled to the Dominican Republic to help the victims of the earthquake that hit Haiti earlier this year.
