Buddy's back, and he's got five pups, known as "The Buddies." Also back is Bud's faithful human, Josh Framm, now 15 and attracted to girls - especially Emma Putter, a new student from England, who joins the boys' soccer team at her new school.
With the soccer team in need of more players, Josh ends up joining - and so does his talented dog, Buddy. Meanwhile, two thieves have their eyes set on stealing Buddy's golden retriever girlfriend, who just happens to be owned by Emma, the girl that Josh is head over heels for.
Will Josh ever find a way to get Emma to notice him? And what about Buddy and his new female friend. Air Bud: World Pup Special Edition is all about Josh and Buddy as they learn how to play soccer, fight crime and figure out girls. The DVD also features members of the 1999 US Olympic Women’s Soccer Team.
