This classic watch just got a lot more colorful! Kidzworld's got the 411 on this hot watch collection by Casio!
History
Believe it or not, but the G-Shock series has been around for quite some time. In 1983, Casio introduced the first ever G-Shock watch. Before that, watches were looked at as fragile objects that were used as jewelry and not meant to be worn while playing sports. Over the years, the G-Shock series has continued to get more durable and fashionable.
25th Anniversary
In honor of the G-Shock's 25th anniversary, Casio released the ultra sleek Limited Edition series. Because of this milestone, they decided to trick out this classic watch. These timepieces come in all sorts of fun, vibrant colors and designs. Pink, canary yellow, green and teal - you name it! The watches also have a glossy coating, so your watch will always be shining like you have a brand new Corvette on your wrist!
Features
As nice as these watches look, the last thing you want to do is get them dirty. But is nice to know that if you wanted to you could! With the Shock resistance feature, you can wear these watches while playing sports or doing any other physical activity. You can also take these watches up to 200 meters underwater. The G-Shock also has a countdown timer, a 1/100 second stopwatch and an auto-calendar.
Fashion
No doubt, you will turn heads at school with the new G-Shock's hanging off of your wrist! Whether you are wearing the Ferrari red model or the camouflage color, you are sure to score more compliments from your classmates than the head cheerleader. It is no wonder celebrities like Pharrell Williams and Jordin Sparks rock the G-Shock!
The cost of the G-Shock Limited edition watches range from $90 US to $350 US. For more information visit www.gshock.com.
