Run's House Seasons One and Two DVD
The first two seasons of Run's House introduce us to the Simmons family. As the head of the household, Run goes against a lot of father stereotypes currently on TV by loving and caring for his kids while trying to teach them legitimate life lessons. When the series begins, daughter Angela wants a million dollar party for her high school graduation, but unlike My Super Sweet 16 the family works out a compromise instead of blowing cash by the bucketful. In another episode Russy keeps breaking Game Boys in anger, so Run enrolls him in karate class. By the time the second season ends, the family is about to have a new edition, and the older daughters get ready to move into their own place. The first two year's of Run's House have a great blend of family drama, celebrity cameos, and heart, something a lot of reality TV is sorely missing.
