What’s the deal with the newest expansion set for the Bella Sara card game of collectible horses? Find out with Gary’s review!
It would be awesome to be able to collect horses, unfortunately they're huge and eat tons of food. However, the Bella Sara card game lets you collect and trade horse cards. Each card has an inspiring message and a free code that lets you unlock a virtual horse for an online stable! Following on the heels (hooves?) of making Kidzworld's Top Card Games of 2007, the Ancient Lights expansion adds horses named after ancient gods and heroes. Here's the 411 on the Bella Sara trading cards with Gary's review.
Collecting Ancient Legends
From the legendary warrior Achilles to Uranus, this set is loaded with horses named after ancient greek and roman gods and heroes. Each horse is dressed up like the legend they represent, from a wreath of apples for Ceres to scales and fins for Triton. Each card also has a positive message and a code that lets you unlock it on BellaSara.com.
Heroes and Gods!
Not only are the cards cheap and easy to collect, it's a lot of fun to google their names to find out more about the old legends - like why Achilles has an arrow in his hoof! The cards are pink too, which helps keep them separate from the older sets and gives you a new way to play games with them.
Flat Horses?
Got cheesy artwork? Yes they do. These Bella Sara cards could really use a boost in their art quality, it's not bad but almost every other card game out there blows them out of the water.
Collectible or Forgettable?
The Ancient Lights cards are a great addition to the Bella Sara card game. They're cheap, easy to collect and you can have a lot of fun online with just one pack. Plus, the new pink cards make it easy to keep track of the new set.
