LEGOs Spybotics - Spybots for spy kidz. Check out Kidzworlds review and get a Spybotics toy for yourself!
LEGO's Spybotics are the hottest new toys for spy kids and LEGO maniacs alike. There are four different Spybotics vehicles - the Gigamesh G60, Technojaw T55, Shadowstrike S70 and Snaptrax S45. Each one is a Spybot that you, as a special agent, can use to save the world from enemy agents and solve international mysteries. To start your career as a LEGO special agent , you have to pick up a Spybotics Spybot - they're available for about $60 US ($90 CDN.) Each Spybotics kit contains a package of LEGO bits and a CD. The Spybotics CD lets you into S.M.A.R.T. HQ where you can get instructions for building your remote-control Spybot. Once you've finished putting it together the CD is full of secret missions you can take it on!
With your remote-control LEGO Spybotics Spybot and your computerized link to S.M.A.R.T. HQ you'll be able to play missions, program your LEGO Spybot, upload and download missions, track your high scores and more! There are 10 Spybotics spy missions to start, but you can only play five of them by yourself - the rest need more than one Spybot to play.
LEGO's Spybotics Spybots are cool remote control toys with lots of high-tech spy features - but there are a few flaws. The biggest problem is the short range remote-control, it only has a five foot range. You also need more than one LEGO Spybot to play some missions and use the funky abilities like shields, laser beams and more - they only work against other Spybots when you play multiplayer missions. But if you've got friends with Spybots of their own, that's no problem at all.
