Linkin Park made a huge impact on the rock music scene with their debut CD, Hybrid Theory, and now they're back for round two with their latest CD, Reanimation. Reanimation takes Hybrid Theory to the next level with different interpretations of songs from that album.
Reanimation is not a typical "remix" CD, (don't hit the panic button, it's nothing like J. Lo's J To Tha L O remixes.) Although they've changed the beats and the music on various songs, many of the songs also have different lyrics. And did we mention guest artists? Reanimation gets a lil' help from Aaron Lewis of Staind, who adds his voice to Krwling. Other artists who appear on Reanimation include Jonathan Davis of Korn, Evidence from Dilated Peoples and Black Thought of the Roots.
Reanimation is still rock but the CD has a hip-hop meets electronica kinda feel to it with way more scratchin' and rap than on Hybrid Theory. If you live for Linkin Park then I would definitely suggest pickin' up a copy of Reanimation but if this is your intro to Linkin I would put my dollars on their first disc instead.
