The Kidzworld Coach can help ya work out team problems or give ya tips and advice to improve your game - all ya gotta do is ask!

1 Hey Coach,
I've got lots of problems! I don't have a scooter, bike or blades to exercise with. I walk but I'm always tired. Somtimes all I can do is watch TV, so I'm not exercising. I've got another problem. I'm ten and no boy will go out with me and no boy has kissed me and no boy will! Please help!

Hey skates02143,
You need to get off your butt and turn off the television. You can still exercise even if you don't have a scooter or a bike. Kick a ball around, jump rope or try doing cartwheels. There's hundreds of different things you can do to get exercise - so quit moping and start moving. Your body gets tired so easily because it's not used to exercising. The more you exercise, the less tired your body will start to feel.

Don't worry about not having a boyfriend. Lots of girls your age still haven't kissed a guy yet. Britney Spears claims she didn't have her first kiss until she was 12 (mind you, she also claims she doesn't lip-sync) and your fave chat monitor, Olive, says she never locked lips with a guy until she was 13. So don't freak out. If you have the attitude that no guy will ever kiss you or go out with you, then that's probably what will happen. Plus, spending all your time in front of the tube doesn't exactly give you a chance to meet Mr. Right, does it? At that rate, you'll end up as a lonely, old woman who stays at home feeding her 27 cats and watching soaps all day long.

1Hey Coach,
I have asthma and my coach tells me to toughen up. How the heck can I toughen up when my asthma is actually uncontrollable? Most people say she's a bag! What do you think I should do to make her stop being so tough?
LooneyLuv

Hey LooneyLuv,
More than five million people in the United States have asthma and it's the number one reason kids miss school - so you're not alone. Your P.E. teacher shouldn't be such a bag - but there are ways for you to control your asthma attacks. Your doctor may be able to recommend some medications and inhalers you can use so you can fully participate in P.E. class.

Many kids also use their asthma as an excuse to skip school or P.E. class, so make sure you don't fall into this category. Explain to your teacher that asthma makes P.E. class difficult for you at times. If she still acts like a bag, talk to your prinicpal or another teacher about it.

For more info on asthma, talk to your doctor or click here.

Do you have a question on sports, P.E. class, rules to sports, fitness or health? to the Kidzworld Coach. Keep in mind peeps, the Kidzworld Coach isn't a doctor or a professional athlete or anything like that. He's just a dude who digs sports, plays 'em and knows a lot about 'em. You should always talk to your 'rents, a doctor or your school gym teacher before starting a new sport or a new exercise.
