Dear Dish-It,
Well, first of all I like this boy that works at a theme park that I go to a lot. I don't know if he likes me back but my mom said he looked at me and smiled. I wrote him a poem but I'm scared to give it to him. I'm scared he may think I'm a nerd. I don't usually write poems but I thought of a good one and decided to write it down. What should I do? Do you think he likes me?

Dear Brooke141209,
Before you go giving this boy your sonnets, why not first just say hello to him? I'm sure he's a cute boy, but do you know anything about his personality? This theme park hottie might be a little freaked-out by getting a love poem from a perfect stranger. That's not to say you'll never have the opportunity to recite your poetry to him - but it might be less awkward if you find out his name first! If he operates a ride, grab some of your friends and take a spin. You can chat with him while you wait in line and see what kind of vibe he gives you. If it's a game booth he works at, go hang out and attempt to win yourself a prize. If this guy likes you, you'll know. If you dig his conversation, why not suggest grabbing some cotton candy together sometime - or taking a plunge on the roller coaster together! Good Luck.
So, ya gotta burnin' question? Need some love directions? Thinkin' 'bout stuff like depression, sex,how ya feel 'bout YOURSELF (that's called "self-esteem"), boyfriends, girlfriends, losin' old friends, bullyin' or peer pressure, but too scared to ask the parents? Don't be scared to .
