Director Lars Aschengreen, Chief Executive of Martian Relations, has the crazy idea that he can tap into one of the most unruly sources of power - volcanoes. He thinks he can draw the power created in a volcanic eruption and use it for electricity on Earth. But someone doesn't want Lars to get further ahead in his already way too successful career. On his way back from Olympus Mons, the highest mountain in the universe, Lars' spacecab explodes, killing him and three other scientists. Now it is up to DeeDee Stravinsky to find out what went wrong. She's the resident expert on everything to do with rockets, and now it's her job to figure out why Lars' spacecab blew up.

Murder on Mars kept me on my toes 'til the very last page. Every time I thought I knew exactly who had committed the murders, the author threw another wrench into the story leaving me exactly where I was at the beginning - in the dark. Murder on Mars is packed with pics, making it easier for you to picture life on the red planet. And for all you space buffs out there, the author also gives you a heads up at the end of the book on NASA's space exploration plans in the next 10 years.
