Break out the boards and ready the thumbs, the bomb is back and Tony's better than ever. The newest Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 brings Tony and a crew of the best skaters from the world over together to grind it out and see who's got the best tricks.
The graphics tweak it up a bit, squeezing a little more juice from the fading Playstation and makin' the Dreamcast gorgeous. You aren't skating alone this time, there's movin' stuff in your way while you score your moves. Learn to duck 'em and dodge 'em or you'll end up on your back.
Pro Skater 2 is packed full of moves for you to learn and master. Wall rides are a bigger deal now. All the old moves are still in, a few are tweaked thanks to a new physics engine so you'd better go over them and make sure you know the diff' between the old and the new. Not figuring 'em out can leave you scrambling to recover when something doesn't go the way it used to. Check the cheats for some tips.
Now you can build your own skate park and pass it out to your friends. After a couple of tries you'll be re-doing Disneyland so you can skate Magic Mountain. Trade em with your friends, across the net if you've got the DreamCast, and see who's got the maddest park-buildin' skillz.
Once you've finished makin' your park get ready to skate it with your own skater. Either re-arrange the wardrobe on your fave skater or make your own from scratch. Toss together some style, add some skill and get set to grind.
Pro Skater 2 has it all, bigger than the first, louder than the first and prouder than the rest.
How hard is the game?
Really tough, you can get pretty far with the basics but you have to learn the real hot-shot moves to go all the way.Age Rating:
