We all know and love the characters on Friends. Sometimes all they have to do is say one line and its funny cuz its who they are. Here are a few classic lines from the Friends gang.
We all know and love the characters on the hit comedy Friends. Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, Monica, Chandler and Joey all have very different personalities that make each of them funny in their own way. Sometimes it only takes one line to send us into a laughing fit. Here are a few classic lines from the Friends' gang.
-
Joey - "How you doin'?" (Joey says this in a deep, self-confident voice.)
This line is probably the most frequently repeated line on the show, but it's still funny every single time cuz its so Joey trying to be the [kwlink]ladies man[/kwlink]. -
Monica - "Ok!" (Picture Monica saying this in a really high voice with a lot of [kwlink]enthusiasm[/kwlink]).
Monica says this all the time, but she seems to say it around Chandler the most. Usually when they agree on something and he's in favor of doing things her way. -
Phoebe - "What she said." "What he said." (Usually blurted out quickly).
Phoebe pulls this line out of her sleeve a lot. When she's trying to get out of a sticky situation she'll often agree with the first explanation somebody offers. -
Chandler - "Oh...... my...... God!" (Said with long pauses between words).
This line was made famous by Chandler's annoying, nasal-speaking ex-girlfriend, Janice. The phrase was even funnier when it came out of Chandler's mouth when Janice came back. - Ross - "We were on a break!" (Usually spoken in a whiny voice). Ross has used this excuse more than a couple of times, since he got together with another girl and destroyed his relationship with Rachel. He fed the same line to his son Ben, who later freaked Rachel out by repeating it to her long after she broke-up with his dad.
-
Rachel - "Monica, would you calm down?" (Said in an exasperated voice.)
Being a long-time roomie and friend of Monica, all her weird obsessions has made Rachel tell Monica to calm down on more than one occasion.
