Mario Kart Super Circuit :: GBA Game Review

Dec 27, 2006

Mario, Wario, the funky monkey, Donkey Kong, and the rest of the Nintendo crew have some serious wheels - and they're not afraid to use them. Pick your fave videogame all-star, power up with turtle shells and blast past the competition in this wicked kart racer for the Gameboy Advance.

Mario Kart Super Circuit Game Details

The graphics are intense - lots of detail and they're totally goofy and fun. You need some good lighting to play properly or you'll end up squinting cuz some of the stuff is pretty dark but it's really nice.

Mario Kart Super Circuit Sound FX

The sound effects are good. There's a bit of fuzz, but there's also some good beats and a few goofy voices. It keeps the race moving and your feet tapping.

Mario Kart Super Circuit High-Speed!

The best part is the racing. It's not totally high speed, turbo-death tracks but there's enough room to maneuver. You even get warnings about the corners so you don't have to memorize the track like in Mickey's Speedway USA. Turtle-shell power-ups can blast the competition. Stars and mushrooms power you up and coins go flying as you slam into everyone.

Mario Kart Super Circuit Extra Stuff

If you're ready for multiplayer - so is Mario. Grab some buddies, link up your GBAs and go for it. Four people can play with one game cartridge, just make sure you have enough GBAs to go around.

How Hard Is Mario Kart Super Circuit?

It's so simple your Mom could beat it.
