Jurassic Park 3 (JP3) charged into theatres a while ago and now it's invading your home on DVD and VHS. All the running, jumping, screaming action over land, sea and air featuring some of the biggest, nastiest dinos from 65 million years ago can be enjoyed in your own home.
The story is a bit wacky. After all, what the heck are these morons doing back on that island? Didn't they learn from going there the last two times and having everybody get eaten? Ugh, some people are just dumb. This time Dr. Grant needs money to prove his wacky theories about Raptors being really smart and being able to talk with their noses. Ick.
Before you know it, some guy with waaaaay too much money gets Dr. Grant to take him to see the island. It's supposed to be a big anniversary present for him and his wife. But what's the deal with the big guys and the big guns? It looks like they're up to no good. Especially after they KO Dr. Grant.
The action is good and one of the coolest characters is a kid named Eric. He's a real brainiac who's read all of Dr. Grant's dinosaur books and he has some serious survival skills.
JP3 is full of gruesome stuff - dinosaurs eating people, lots of blood and people getting beaten up and scared by the dino's. There are dead people, sticky messes, jars of dinosaur pee and all sorts of gross stuff. It's rated PG-13 for a reason, unless you have a strong stomach you'll need company.
The DVD and VHS hit a store near you on December 12, 2001. It's just in time for Christmas and if you're lucky you'll get a Jurassic Park disposable cell phone with your movie!
