#10 Paula Abdul - How Not To Do An Interview
As this year's cycle of American Idol was heating up, Paula Abdul was acting out! She slurred her words, wobbled in her chair, and babbled incoherently during a Fox News interview in January. The clip was on Youtube in a flash and has been viewed almost 3.5 million times. Paula's publicist blamed technical difficulties for her strange behavior, but - to most people watching - it appeared the Idol judge was under the influence of something a little stronger than her morning coffee.#9 Nicole Richie - From The Clink To The Crib
It's been a busy year for Paris' BFF and Simple-Life co-star Nicole Richie. That's what she gets for trying to follow in her friend's prison stripes, I mean footsteps. Originally sentenced to four days in the slammer for a DUI arrest and drug possession after driving the wrong way down the freeway, Nicole spent only 82 minutes in a California jail. However, the short visit may have scared her straight, since finally admitting she and boyfriend Joel Madden are having a baby, most of her publicity has been fairly G-rated. The little one is due sometime in January, so expect to hear and see a lot more of Nicole Richie in 2008.#8 Kiefer Sutherland - 24 Star Sentenced To 48
In September, Kiefer was pulled over by Los Angeles Police for making an illegal U-turn and then charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Sutherland was sentenced to serve 48 days behind bars because it was his fourth DUI since 1989. He started serving time in December, but the Judge agreed to let him split up his [KWLINK 4356]prison[KWLINK] stay so he can still film his hit TV show, 24. 2007 was rough for Ms. Winehouse. She was arrested in Norway, mumbled her way through numerous brutal performances, had her house raided by the police, saw her husband arrested, was admitted to the hospital to have her stomach pumped, called an ambulance to her home in the middle of the night, and made a few unsuccessful attempts to treat her drug and alcohol problems. Emotionally all over the place, especially with husband Blake in jail, Amy recently canceled the remainder of her tour and public appearances to take another shot at rehab. Hopefully, this time she'll sing a different tune.#6 Vanessa Hudgens - We've Seen A Lot Of Her This Year
After High School Musical 2 smashed TV records this summer, Vanessa and boyfriend Zac Efron were on top of the world. Unfortunately, a scandalous photo of Hudgens in her birthday suit surfaced online and things crashed down to Earth real quick. Since then we've heard thousands of apologies from Vanessa, her publicist, Disney, and more, but the paparazzi heat seems to be on the young star for good.
