Inside the Hive
Barry B. Benson (Jerry Seinfeld) is a bee with his whole life ahead of him. He's just finished college and ready to enter life as an employee at Honex, the mega bee corporation that makes the hive's honey. But Barry thinks he has a destiny bigger than his lone career choice. He just doesn't know what it is until he risks everything by taking a trip outside the hive!
Fallin' for Pollen
Barry gets the chance to go for a "fly along" on a pollen-collection mission, but ends up separated from the "pollen jocks." Life is difficult for a lone bee in the city and Barry is nearly squashed within minutes, but is saved by a florist named Vanessa Bloome (Renée Zellweger). Even though it's a bee law not to talk to humans, Barry feels the need to thank the woman who saved him. Little does he know that opening the lines of communication with this woman will change bee life as he knows it.
Honey Just Got Funny
While taking a walk with his new human pal, Vanessa, Barry learns that humans have been stealing honey from bees and eating it themselves. Finally Barry feels he has a purpose - he's going to sue the human race! But will a human judge ever side with a bee? And what will bees do if they don't need to make honey anymore?
